Sugarfree established Victoria BID (or Victoria Business Improvement District, to give it its full slightly ungainly title) by
creating an identity based upon that of the previous Victoria
Partnership. We devised their marketing strategy, a website, a
quarterly magazine and one-off guides and mapping devices. We even designed the fetching bowler hatted uniforms for the Welcome People who set up and run the street ambassadors programme, welcoming visitors to Victoria.
Since its launch successes in community and local policing provided by the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police have been well documented and promoted. The Victoria BID is funded and steered by Land Securities, Grosvenor and Network Rail to deliver their corporate social responsibility programmes that help to soften the impact of the large-scale developments they are building in the vicinity of Victoria Station.
