Milton Keynes: Arts Guide
The Arts Guide was a handy pocket-sized guide to arts engagement throughout the city and wider Milton Keynes area, including contact details of participating local partner organisations. We created an identity for the guide publication, which included illustrative elements, maps and location photography which could potentially be applied to other publications and screen-based media. The project included a sub-brand identity development for the Arts and Heritage Alliance, applied to an Arts Open Weekend encouraging greater access to arts activities.

Milton Keynes: EBDOG
Supporting the Building Schools for the Future initiative, the EBDOG conference brought together architects, developers, education providers and local authorities to discuss best practice and encourage a better quality built environment in education. We designed the identity and conference pack and punctuated the layout of one of the two CD-sized publications with digital drawings produced during a series of art workshops by Milton Keynes school children. The drawings were also reproduced as hanging banners at the conference.

Milton Keynes: Read Together
MK Reads Together encouraged children and adults to read to each other. It heralded 2008’s Government National Year of Reading campaign to engage with children of school age to encourage children to read more and not see it as an activity to take place within the confines of school.
We created the campaign identity in 2007, which continued the following year as Share the Word. The campaign encouraged children and adults to share books by taking part in book crossing. Book crossing occurs where a book is left by one reader at a pre-arranged location and picked up by another. Share the Word print outcomes included a calendar, leaflets and bookmarks distributed to schools throughout the Milton Keynes area.
